NEW CONFLICTS (BEYOND THOSE ALREADY PROVIDED AT THE BEGINNING) NEED TO STOP! We have been more than fair in accommodating schedules but we have only 4 more rehearsal days and the cast is behind on their level of proficiency. MOST EVERY THEATER COMPANY ANYWHERE would not allow excessive absences (more than one or two missing or even late sessions) to begin with. Because we are interested in teaching youth, we try to work out schedules without immediate dismissal of the cast - but, we will not suffer abuse of the system. If you had commitments in the last two weekends and you can rearrange schedules to be at rehearsal - that would be greatly appreciated. ALL OF THIS IS COMMITMENT.
FINAL REHEARSALS: The schedule for Saturday was posted in the last update (see below). The schedule for the remaining 3 rehearsals is full cast full days (Sunday the 30th, Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th). We will be doing run thrus, costumes, and tech work. The start time is 11 a.m. and the end time could be as late as 7 this Sunday and 8 the last Saturday and Sunday (though we hope to be earlier). IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE CAST WORKING ON IMPROVING AT HOME. We will have better ideas of end times as we go, and may have cast call when they are done if earlier.
NEW HARMONIES: The final set of harmonies have been added to the Harmony folder accessed using the Music Tracks link in the green menu.
BIOGRAPHIES: A monetary penalty of $25 will be assessed to anyone who has not submitted their biography by start of rehearsal on this Saturday.
NEW FOR THIS 11/24 UPDATE:
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR SHOW PROJECTS: We will be at the YTP space in the mall Tuesday and Wednesday from about 12:30-8:30 working on projects for the Pure Imagination review. We will have projects in many areas and most requiring only basic skills sets. For those with finer artistic talents, there are projects that will be needed for the show - if you let us know you coming and what you can work on, we can make sure there are materials available.
REHEARSALS THIS COMING WEEKEND (29th & 30th): Rehearsals on Saturday will start with the full cast at 11 a.m. We intend to finish off blocking and choreography for all the numbers remaining to be done. Putting together a detailed time schedule for this is not practical, but, as cast are finished for the day, we will have them call as early as we know. As always, if they need to stay for regular pickup it is not a problem.

NEW FOR THIS 10/31 UPDATE #1:
REGARDING REHEARSALS ON SATURDAY NOV 1
1) CAST LISTS: Yes, Lists - there are 14 different shows that needed to be cast (hence the delay). The lists will be posted in the next few hours. When they go up, they will be at the top of the right-most (green) block above/to the right.
2) CONFLICTS: Gather ALL of your conflict information and bring it with you to tomorrow's rehearsal. Parents, if you can stay for a half hour to confirm conflicts and discuss rehearsal options that would be greatly appreciated.
3) REHEARSAL Saturday will start with singing each song in succession using the assigned casts from the cast list for each song. Many will be dismissed after that with the exception of some of the lead singers in each song that will begin to work with Christie on the music. A list of those people will be available at the start of rehearsal with approximate end times for pick up.
4) MOST OF YOU HAVE STILL NOT DONE THE REQUIRED ONLINE ITEMS ABOVE THE UPDATE BLOCK! THESE ARE NOT SUGGESTIONS - THEY ARE REQUIRED!!!!!

REGARDING REHEARSALS ON SUNDAY OCT 25
For anyone who was in attendance yesterday, Saturday October 25, there is no rehearsal today (Sunday).
For anyone who was NOT here yesterday, there is rehearsal from 3 to 6 pm IF you want to come in and PERFORM a specific audition song in order to enhance your opportunities for placement in desired songs. If you have not come yet and want to be in the show, you need to fill out the application materials to let us know (see below) and provide your song selection information using the form at www.childrensplaytimeproductions.com/seasoninfo.html now.
