NEW FOR THIS 3/29/26 UPDATE
SHOW T-SHIRTS: We are preparing the order for the show t-shirts (which are included in the materials fee for the cast). However, families often want additional shirts (mom, dad, siblings, friends, etc.). We get our best pricing on the first bulk order. If we do a further order of only a few shirts, the cost goes up significantly. With that, if you are interested in purchasing a shirt, we need to know ASAP (not later than Wednesday morning). We'll need shirt sizes and payment of $20 per shirt. Email or text Chuck with the information if you have not already done so.
REHEARSAL FOR APRIL 18: The mystery behind the "?" for the April 18 rehearsal is now ready to be revealed! We have been extended an invitation by the La Quinta library to perform/promote our show. Some CPP players are performing a short musical from our 10-minute musical selections starting at 11 a.m. The Dare to Dream Cast is called at 11:00 at the library to perform from 11:30 to noon. The remainder of rehearsal day will be dedicated to Christie working at the mall with singers that need extra support. This will be done on a scheduled basis between Christie and the Singer(s).

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, MARCH 28, 29: The call time for Saturday will be 11 a.m. for the full cast. Check back later this week (shooting for Thursday) for more detailed information about what will be covered both days and more specific timing details.
CHOREOGRAPHY VIDEOS are now accessible through the link in the green menu at right for the two songs taught this last weekend. This same link will be used as new songs choreography videos are added over the coming weeks.
The current CAST LIST is posted in green menu at right. Make note that with the exception of one song (Dig a Little Deeper), the entire cast is on stage in character at all times. They may be singing in groups or all together, at other times they might just be moving or reacting. Please note, too, that the PLAYER (1-15) and SOLO (A-J) are being re-mapped for this show (meaning if PLAYER X has multiple lines and multiple songs, they may be split between our cast members. Those are the parts that are still incomplete on the cast list and should be fleshed out in the next two weeks. Lines outside of songs have yet to be distributed as well. EVERYONE should start learning all of the songs that have Ensemble or Group Lines.
IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR NAME ON THE CAST LIST YET DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. We have plenty of song pieces and lines that we just weren't yet prepared to assign (especially for those new to CPP that did not submit audition videos.
OFF BOOK DATE is set for SATURDAY, APRIL 11! That means you should be able to substantially perform the show without the scripts in your hands! On that weekend, you would be able to call for a line from the stage manager if stuck, but not have the script in hand.
THE MTI VIDEO IS NOW ACCESSIBLE THROUGH GREEN MENU: The sample video from MTI's World Premier of Dare To Dream in August of 2025 (previously accessible through the participation page of our site) now has a link included in the green menu. The cast is asked to pay special attention to the last song sung and danced to - YOU ARE THE MAGIC. In particular, start learning the choreography that cast presents. It will be helpful when we teach you for our show.
HEADS UP RE APRIL 18 SCHEDULE: The show calendar had a question mark for Saturday, April 18. This is because we were waiting for details on a special opportunity for the cast. If you were with us and remember for Beetlejuice Jr, we had the opportunity to perform before the public at a special event held at the La Quinta Public Library. A similar event is being held there on the 18th and the cast will have the opportunity to perform as a part of the rehearsal. This is a morning event and the rehearsal will be at the library to do this event. In the afternoon, Christie will be working with the Primary and Secondary Singers on a scheduled basis (talk to her to coordinate that effort). If you will need us to help coordinate rides back to the mall, let us know asap.
T-SHIRTS: We forgot to discuss t-shirts at the parent meeting. Your paid materials fee includes a t-shirt for the cast member. If you would like additional t-shirts (for parents, siblings, etc.), we will gladly include that in our order. The cost is $20 and we will need shirt size(s). We need to place the order early next week so we will need the information and payment by the end of rehearsal on Sunday.

STEP 2 says to complete EACH of the forms in the menu (the same menu is in red above). To be considered for casting in Dare To Dream ALL THREE ONLINE FORMS must be completed!!! NOTE: The EMail registration is two-part and is not complete until you click the link within the email our system automatically sends you.
The MUSIC TRACKS for this show have been added to the green menu at right. Performance Tracks are instrumental only. Guide Vocal Tracks have singers demonstrating how to sing the songs.
