YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO WATCH THE MTI VIDEO OF THEIR PREMIERE PERFORMANCE OF DARE TO DREAM JR.  THIS WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE FLOW OF THE SHOW, THE SONGS, AND WHERE YOU MIGHT BEST FIT IN TO THE PRODUCTION.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF THE DAY SUNDAY, MARCH 8.  
THIS GIVES A HEADS UP YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING AND ALLOWS US TO FOLLOW UP ON CASTING NEEDS PROMPTLY.

NOTE: NOT EVERYONE NEEDS TO AUDITION!
 IF YOU WERE IN EITHER OF OUR LAST TWO REVUES, YOU HAVE ALREADY AUDITIONED.  
WE MAY STILL ASK FOR CALL BACKS IF NECESSARY AND YOU CAN STILL ASK TO AUDITION FOR SPECIFIC SONGS

THE CASTING PROCESS WILL START AS APPLICATIONS ARE SUBMITTED (NOW) AND 
CONTINUE THROUGH MARCH 19!  

ORIENTATION IS ON MARCH 21 AT 11 am. 
IT IS MANDATORY THAT A PARENT ATTEND.  

Participants will not be cast if they are not fully available 
ALL of Memorial Day Weekend and for all shows on Show days.  
Memorial Day itself has no show-related activity so local barbecuing would be okay. 
Be mindful of other Mandatory dates on the calendar as well.

​WHAT TIMES ARE REHEARSALS?
The overall rehearsal windows are 
Saturdays from 11a.m. to 7:00p.m. (8:00 p.m. the last two weeks before show)
and Sundays from 11a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Efforts will be made to minimize rehearsal times where possible.

At the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert

WHERE ARE THE REHEARSALS?
At the CPP/YTP Youtheatre Players Studio in the Shops at Palm Desert (until Sunday before shows)

WHEN ARE THE SHOWS?
The Tuesday and Wednesday after Memorial Day (May 27 and 28)

HOW MANY SHOWS ARE THERE?
7 shows over two days.  6 for local school audiences; 1 for the Public

WHAT TIMES ARE THE SHOW?
Tuesday, May 26 - School Shows @ 9:10 am, 10:40 am, and 12:10 pm 
Tuesday, May 26 - Public Show @ 7:00 pm
Wednesday, May 27 - School Shows @ 9:10 am, 10:40 am, and 12:10 pm

NOTE TO PARTICIPANTS!!!!
CPP's Annual McCallum show has been our flagship program for the last 28 of our 30 years of service.  It serves over 6,000 youth and is forged out of relationships built with foundations, donors, the McCallum Theatre, schools and community members at all levels.  If you don't already know it - understand that it is an absolute PRIVILEGE for youth to set foot on that stage and perform for the community.  Most will never have that opportunity.  BUT, it comes at a price - respecting the process and expectations for participation as provided below.
Sacrifices of time and other desired activities should be expected in return. As should compliance with ALL REQUIREMENTS! The end result will be worth it!

COMPLETE EACH ONLINE FORM IN THE MENU BELOW

STEP 3
ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ABOVE YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO FURTHER STEPS TO TAKE AS WELL AS THE SCRIPT AND MUSIC TRACKS TO BEGIN PRACTICING!!!
