SYNOPSIS AND LESSONS
While the Ant Colony (including audience members) worked and worked to store food for the winter, Mr. Grasshopper did nothing but play, sing and dance! CPP's production allowed Aesop to tell his own fable about preparedness, while adding a message about working too hard! Students learned that there is value in preparing for the future and saving for a rainy day, but there is no reason work can't be mixed with some fun, too!
