PAST MAJOR PRODUCTIONS
Charlotte’s Web is a simple story about extraordinary friendships.
Born the runt of the litter, Wilbur, an irresistible young pig, is branded too weak to keep. Help for Wilbur comes first when Fern, a little girl who understands what animals say to each other – takes Wilbur on as a cause.

Curious by nature, and innocent at heart, Wilbur runs across Charlotte – an extraordinary spider. The two become fast friends. When Charlotte realizes that Wilbur is in danger, she decides that the humans must see Wilbur as something every bit as special as she knows him to be. Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign in which Charlotte – Wilbur’s “true friend and a good writer” – uses her skills to the ultimate end of ensuring Wilbur’s safety. Wilbur returns the good deed by doing what is most important to Charlotte as well.

Along with Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and a band of farm animals and spectators, we learn what real friendship is all about while being entertained and enchanted.
