GENERAL INFORMATION
CPP's Voice (Singing) Club is an ongoing club that runs throughout the year. Participants learn and practice skills related to improving their ability to understand and to sing songs through activities designed to teach while having fun.
With the focus on specific songs within the theme, participants will practice warm up techniques, voice control, breathing, performance singing, proper singing techniques, basic score terminology and reading, finding your own natural vocal range and identifying the best songs for it, expanding your vocal range, making songs your own, understanding harmonies, timing, and much more.
At approximately 8 to 10 week intervals, eligible participants will have the opportunity to take part in a Showcase Performance that highlights the material each has worked on in the preceding period. In addition to the public Showcase Performance, participants will have the option to perform through other CPP/YTP programs!
AGE RANGE(S): 6* through 18 with division into separate groups based upon age/experience and according to number of participants. Young participants will be accepted subject to assessment of readiness by instructors. Older participants are welcome as space permits.

LOCATION: Youtheatre Players in The Shops @ Palm Desert (formerly Westfield Palm Desert Mall)

PARTICIPATION FEE: Our fee structure for this and all CLUBS is $60.00 per month on Autopay. One $60 membership gets the participant access to all of YTP's CLUBS (Voice, Dance, Improve, Theatre, and Acting). (a nominal surcharge is added to cover our fees incurred for processing). Absences will not warrant a reduction in fee.
