GENERAL INFORMATION
CPP's Theatre Club is an ongoing club that runs throughout the year. Participants learn and practice a full range of skills related all facets of acting through instruction, theatre games, exercises and activities designed to teach while having fun.
There are ample opportunities for each participant to determine his or her own area of specific focus (e.g., more acting, more singing, more dancing, equal, etc.). Topics include warm up techniques, voice, breathing, monologue and scene work, pantomime, basic choreography, performance singing, vignette recreation, timing, movement, character development and much more.
At approximately 8 to 10 week intervals, eligible participants may take part in a Showcase Performance in conjunction with the Vocal and Dance Clubs that highlights the material each has worked on in the preceding period. In addition to the public Showcase Performance, participants will have the option to perform through other CPP/YTP programs!
AGE RANGE(S): 7* through 18 with division into separate groups based upon age/experience and according to number of participants. Young participants will be accepted subject to assessment of readiness by instructors. Older participants are welcome as space permits.

OTHER INFORMATION:
A month is considered an average of four sessions; some months may be more, some may be less. Absences will not warrant a reduction in fee.
