GENERAL INFORMATION
This workshop provides students with the practical knowledge they need when performing in front of the camera and each week we will practice putting this knowledge to action with self-tape home play challenges. Together we will go through different exercises in class for honing our on-camera skills with focus on character development, framing, visual focus, movement, monologues, subtext, playing comedy vs drama, single vs multi cam, acting for TV vs Film vs Commercial, and on-set etiquette. This workshop series is great for any actor wanting to smoothly make the transition from stage to screen. Guest appearances from professional working tv/film/commercial actors are anticipated.
